Need an excuse to

UNLEASH YOUR WILD?

We were challenged to promote Hasbro's new game Monopoly Cash Grab and make it fun for children to play and fun for parents to watch! With the insight that children don't want to be limited, we came up with the idea that Cash Grab breaks down limits for kids to enjoy their natural child-like behavior. UNLEASH YOUR WILD was born...

Storyboard

~

The TV spot begins by introducing five different animals interacting and playing the monopoly cash grab game. The scene cuts to the parents watching the frantic competition. They ask who's winning and the scene cuts back to the game, only this time the animals are replaced by kids. The background blurs and the product is brought into the focus of the camera. The spot ends with the monkey's tail curling around the game and pulling it out of the scene.

Visual Storyboard

Jungle/safari music playing. Close-up of a monkey blasting the cash in slow motion. Narrator says, "Off the board, off the maps, we're entering a new territory. Unleash your wild."

Cut to multiple, fast-paced, scenes of individual animals reaching for cash in the air. Eagle swoops in grabbing cash between claws.

Slow-motion - Elephant vacuums up bills with trunk.

Slow motion - aerial view of lion rolling in money as it falls on him.

Slow motion - bear pinches elephant's nose preventing the elephant from gathering more money.

Slow motion - all the animals playing together in the living room.

Pan to the parents - mom and dad standing together in the kitchen watching the kids play. The parents ask, "Who's winning?"

Pan back to the living room - the animals are now kids playing the game.

One kid replies - "we dunno! It's up to chance!" as they pull out a yellow chance card.

One kid plays a chance card and another kid has to give his money pile to someone else. Everyone yells, "ooooh" and roars with laughter.

Blur out scene. Display cash grab product. Narrator says, "Play monopoly Cash Grab and unleash your wild." Monkey tail wraps around cash grab gun and pulls it out with a monkey hoot.
